Big meetings starting up today in Las Vegas between CT and Presidents of the MWC and Comcast. Very interesting discussions regarding the renegotiation of the 2016 TV contract with the new lineup coming in the MWC. How it will all impact...The Mtn Channel, Comcast/NBC Sports Merger, and the rest of the MWC. It's all about TV revenue and the MWC could stand to win in these latest rounds of talks. Comcast could tell the MWC that it wants it to expand to invite Houston, which would be a great pickup for the league. Comcast has just added the MTN Channel and has increased it's footprint substantially in the Houston area. Invite one more and we have championship scenario and the revenue associated with that. Expansion will only happen if Comcast throws more money on the table as it makes no sense for the presidents to accpet a plan that pays them less then their current alotment of 1.4 mill. Anyway, I think it's a good time and an exciting time to be member of the MWC!

I hope this TV contract grows.. that's the best way to get the attention of the BCS and their .. thing they run every winter. Plus it'll be nice to get some extra cash to the MWC schools, as well as the newcomers. Might even lure us some nice teams into the league.

Methinks, I'm going to be sick. I hope to hell there is some massive upside to this crap. It makes absolutely no sense.
Unless there is some AQ scenario or, an AQ like pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, I think we will have all been sold a wooden nickle.

Damn that sucks if true. I hate USU ever since they ran our RB into the wall in their dump they call a football stadium (can't remember his name right now) during Glenn's first season I think.
