Big East to add/invite 6 teams today??

Especially if WVAs lawsuit is accurate in that UConn, Cincy, and Louisville have all been in negotiations with other conferences.

imagine if the big east ended up with all football operations west of the mississippi and all other sports in appalachia

If the donkey's go I hope their fucking plane crashes into a hillside they're first trip out east, and krusty better be on the plane. Have a nice day.

I wouldn't be so bitter if I was y'all, guys, we may be joining them within a year.....along with BYU.

It's hilarious the Boise is going to sell all of it's other sports down the river to join a conference that may not exist in a couple years.

That's the way I see it too. Whatever. These university presidents have doctor degrees, but they forgot about the common sense degree.

I'll say this once again.....this new Big East(which is likely to be renamed) is the MWC/C-USA combined but not involving all the baggage that comes along with it (the New Mexico's and UAB's of the world, the Mtn., etc.). They will be just fine. This is essentially the WAC/MWC breakup all over again, except 2 MWC and 3 C-USA schools are picking up their ball and going elsewhere along with the remnants of the old Big East. They'll be fine....its the MWC that's gonna have issues. That 283-team conference is a panic move at best.

I know its easy to rag on the new Big East now because Wyoming isn't apart of it, but I would take a step back if I were you all. BYU is being reported to be the next team to join the Big East. John Marionatto is also expecting to move the conference more west.......if Wyoming keeps playing well, who knows? They could find themselves in this conference in a few years.

I would rather we build up our own conference here and call it the MWC and then beat up on the big least.

Wyoming wouldn't be "beating up" on anyone in the Big East. The new MWC? You bet....Wyoming's probably the favorite. But the new Big East? No. While the current east coast schools in the Big East don't necessarily have star power, they are better than the lower and middle tier of the MWC. Better talent.
