BCS schools on the verge of being left out...ha ha ha ha ha

I know that some of the scenarios out there don't really help us and in fact, might hurt us. Regardless, I am loving watching some of the historic "haves" in the BCS cartel railing about how "unfair" it would be to leave them out and how they will sue and how it is an anti-trust matter. Funny that when the teat is flowing with milk and honey, it is above reproach and to be preserved no matter what those underlings in this MWC and WAC say. But when the bad boy starts flowing bile and blood, man how the worm turns. Sorry bastards anyway. Now the Senators from Kansas are sounding like Orin Hatch. I say let them sit in their own diaper and learn how to swim in crap. We have the benefit of practicing for over 10 years now. I will say that the "waterwings" phase of the training is really the worst.

The schools with no home: Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State. Does the MWC take the Kansas schools?

Well, after my bout with being petty is over, I say take KU and KSU. Don't really know about Baylor and ISU. Mizzou I would guess goes East. I appreciate the concerns about forming another conference only to be dropped like a dirty shirt by the folks we add - but I am an optimist - I think WYO gets better under Davie C. and men's b-ball gets better with a new coach after next year - and we are a credit to the conference, not a debit.

I can only hope that all this expansion talk is frightening and confusing Schroyer to the point of suicide.

Well, after a little bit of lurking on Baylor, KU, and KSU boards I have come to a conclusion. They are very hypocritical (crying foul at the BCS now) and delusional (thinking that they would still be a viable BCS conference with only (and this one is an if) Mizzou as a school with a good sized audience.

KU- In denial/major hypocrites
KSU-slightly more realistic until you get to the part where they think they'll run the MWC
Baylor-Wants to reinstate the SWC, and wants TCU in, or to rebuild the Big 12 with the MWC. And boot out Wyoming.

Personally, I think Baylor should be downsized to FCS status for even thinking about trying to reinstate a SWC, let alone thinking that they could be influential enough to boot out a team in a conference that might let them in.

I think CDC is doing a good job of getting our football program back to respectability, but the powers that be had better get our basketball program back into contention or we will get left behind. This should have been done several years ago. The Wyoming legislature needs to dig into those piles of money they have ratholed and pay our coaches a wage that is comparable to the rest of the universities so we can get and keep good coaches. They will try to tell us that there is no money ratholed, but they lie. Do they want their university to represent the State of Wyoming or not?

I saw that some people are talking about Kansas joining MWC on the football side and staying independent in Basketball. Guess that sort of makes sense?

I hate basketball either way :)

As far as I am concerned basketball would be the only reason we would want to invite Kansas, if they stay independant why invite them?

Expanding with these leftovers would only make sense IF a bigger conference is needed for AQ in the new college football landscape.

I still feel the same, invite Boise St only, and tell the rest to Ef off. We are a strong football conference and don't need them bringing us down.
