The biggest brands are gone and now the big dogs of the old mwc are reunited. When having access to equal or better resources, it will be interesting to see if those 3 rise to the top or not.

I know, I know. Another "waiting on the season to start" thread

Are there 15 schools in the country with more wins than Utah in the last 10 years? Off the top of my head I would say Ohio St, Alabama, Clemson, ND, Michigan, Georgia, and Boise St....I'm sure I'm missing some.

Wins over the last 9 non-Covid seasons:

Utah: 80
TCU: 74
BYU: 70

For TCU and Utah...they are kind of on the mountaintop already...Utah has finished in the CFP top 25 7 of the last 9 non-covid pandemic years and averaging nearly 9 wins per non-covid season. TCU over the last 10 years has averaged 8.2 wins per non covid season and played in a national title game. TCU already is a heavywieght in the Big12 and Utah will do just fine

BYU has nearly as many wins as TCU over that stretch but was not viewed as being as good. They have more mountain above them than Utah and TCU do. I suspect they will do well in the Big12...I'll root against them but they invest in that program so much that it will probably succeed.
