Average attendance for last 3 home games?

Almost to the dreaded November where attendance normally plummets anyway. Does Homecoming and the Border War save the average attendance or have fans checked out?

Guess the average attendance for the final 3 games.

I'm going with 14K average over the next 3. UNLV game will drag it waaaaay down and the Border War might help it a little.

Talking paid attendance or actual butts in seats? I think it's going to go off a cliff now that we're moving into the heart of hunting season. I bet there might only be 5000 asses in seats for UNLV. Don't think we'll see more than 15,000 actual seats filled the rest of the way.

Why would someone drive down from anywhere north of Medicine Bow to watch this? Because the uniforms look familiar?

I will say this for Wyoming fans. If you put a winning product on the field, they will show up. Doesn't matter the sport. Hell the AA sold out for a Women's NIT game. The fans of this university are so starved for good teams that they will show up in droves. Basketball is on the uptick finally after Schroyer nearly killed the program.

As far as football, as the team continues to lose and the weather goes south, it doesn't take a genius to figure out people aren't going to come to the games. Who wants to sit in 20 degree weather to watch the Pokes get their asses handed to them? I was supposed to go to both the New Mexico game and the Border War this season. I didn't go to the New Mexico game and will not be going to the Border War. Why? It's not worth a four hour drive and the expense of tickets, food, drinks and a hotel to watch the product that is being put on the field. If I want to spend $500 to be frustrated for three hours I will go to a strip club.
