I don't think the lower west side is well attended, that is the only issue I see. Upper west, east, and students have show up! And the drunk area is always full.23,068 in attendance for a 0-4 was a surprise. It actually felt fuller.
Tickets were well picked over this pre-season. Lots of committed tickets before we knew how it was all going to play out. Glad to see people show up. Weather was nice
Seems like we have the same issue as the AA lower bowl on our hands now. GreatM

We absolutely do. Well done Burman. First mistake (AA) - learn and don't do it again. Second mistake (War) - you need to be removed from your GD job.Seems like we have the same issue as the AA lower bowl on our hands now. Great
Yep. The upgrade needed to happen. Count on Burman to screw up the seating, again. We absolutely do. Well done Burman. First mistake (AA) - learn and don't do it again. Second mistake (War) - you need to be removed from your GD job.
Not sure where to begin on this...we have hashed out the AA debacle here for years, and with the recent War remodel, seems some things are following that path. Single biggest complaint, is that both remodels were NOT about the fans, it was all about the revenue they could pry from the fans. It is never more evident when you look around and see either empty / unused seats, or visiting fans (season ticket holders selling out to visiting fans). Essentially, tickets were gobbled up by the "have's" for tax purposes (and similar), and then rarely used, or sold off.I am curious why people don't like changes to the War. Just asking. Aside from the game, the whole experience for me was impressive. Section 26. Maybe Row 22 or 23. Good view of the field. As an aside, some guy driving Uber saw our group of 7 people walking from a long way away and was like "...jump in! You are gonna miss kick off...this one is on me!" He made two trips and dropped us all at the south entrance. People could not have been nicer. I would also like to note that the changes to the AA were really nice from the outside. The Kenny Sailors statue and the new(ish) bronze statues all around the athletic fields are really cool. I think it is a beautiful campus and the athletic area is top notch.
I agree with you. It’s ridiculous. Not sure where to begin on this...we have hashed out the AA debacle here for years, and with the recent War remodel, seems some things are following that path. We do that with our Broncos, and CFD season tickets (donate to veterans or BBBS, etc.), not sure why UW doesn't make this happen.I agree with you. It’s ridiculous.
It all could be solved with the simple email system where before the game the athletics department sends out a simple ‘are you attending the game’ question and if not ‘would you like to donate the tickets.’ The tickets could then be donated to local schools and the boys and girls club to build future Pokes fans. It’s the simplest solution and I’ve been beating this drum for years but we must have a pretty darn lazy athletics department because it’s never happened and they just bury their heads in the sand. Beyond frustrating at the simplicity and goodwill that could be created.
Or better yet, utilize the app they already have.I agree with you. It’s ridiculous.
