Attendance Predictions

I am superstitious, so will not be participating in a PTS thread the rest of the year (the last was CU, and I had the pokes walking away with a 10 point win in Hippieland).

BUT...

How about predicting the attendance? Will season tickets & tickets sold be counted, versus the actual turnstiles? If so, I say 21,000. If not, I say 18,000.
 
I think a lot depends on weather -

If the weather is good, I'll say 22,000 (homecoming weekend, plus Pokes are scoring points and participating in exciting games)
If the weather sux, I'll go 19,000
 
Hell, I wound up getting the flu. If I'm not any better than I am now and I go to the game, the whole area around where I sit will clear out (with all my hacking). Damn timing. Maybe I just need to take my bottle of medicine (Yukon Jack) in with me.

I think I'm starting to come down with it as well. A bunch of people I know just had H1N1 - so I guess we'll see if that's what I'm catching or not... oh well, at least this game is on TV if I don't make it up to Laramie. I'd go anyways, but I really don't want to make other people sick... we'll see how I feel when Saturday comes around.

I think you missed my earlier thread... the weather IS LOOKING GREAT! Bring on more cold and more snow I say

Don't go to a Wyoming game expecting "nice" weather. Period. If the weather keeps anyone out of the stands they don't deserve to be a Cowboy fan.

Umm...i agree with you just as many other Poke fans do that weather shouldn't be a factor for anyone in Laramie. However, it is a proven fact that poor weather does affect attendance at Wyoming games. Also, a family of 6 from lets say Cody deciding not to attend a snowy game for safety concerns is still a "cowboy fan" in my book.
 
Even with the bad weather, people tend to turn out pretty well for homecoming. I'm going with 18K

My ID never scans for some reason.... so I guess I'm never counted :cry:
