I think we will have about 25,000 actually. I am hoping for more, but Weber State blowsass, and Labor Day is (and has been) a tough draw for UW in Laramie.

I would say about 23k tickets sold, probably 20k in attendance (3k season ticket no-shows). Just a guess.

I'm going to guess 23K because it is a night game on Labor Day with fireworks after (if I remember correctly).

I voted less than 20k. It's a holiday weekend, so a large chunk of the student body will be at home (big travel weekend for local students), plus all the nebraska fans who bought season tickets to make sure they had them for the game won't be coming to see Weber State. I'd say it'll be somewhere between 17-18k.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who talked to a ticket office geek at 31 Flavors last night...and he laughed when asked if the opening game would have more than 20,000 people in attendance.

So, 21K and change. Pretty decent for UW (all things considered), but still embarrasing as a FBS D1 season opener.
