At least 2 less. I refuse to attend even though I am making the 1,000+ mile trip to Laramie just to get some chili ale at Altitudes.
Which is what UW football has transitioned to at this point...and has now for several years. Basically, it is just a large cocktail party with the Richie Rich's kissing each others asses.

A ripple effect is to the local economy.
I will be in Laramie one less day. Cancelled a hotel room. I won’t be visiting any food/drink establishments on Saturday and I will not buy any Wyoming stuff at the good old B & G.
Simply not in the mood and nothing against any entrepreneur in Laramie.
Let’s say that only 1,000 other fans do the same. I would guess at a minimum it’s at least $100,000 less into the local economy and for non season ticket fans the university sells 1,000 less seats at the minimum $60 price for a $60,000 drop in revenue.
Multiply that by an even greater number for the remaining 4 home games. No wonder why Burman doesn’t want 7 games. He knows he can’t sell Sawful’s
sandwiches with a best by date of August 2026 before the season ingredients were presented publicly with game 1.

Though the cost was not extreme I it still came at one and when I drive into town around 4pm on Friday of the UNM I will just head home and let me kids watch on TV or harass the grandparents.

Not my business, and never going to say otherwise, but the local establishments and similar shouldn't be shit upon, because of Tom Burman and VaJayJay Sawful.
For me the low point was last year against Nevada, On the day that Wyoming was retiring Josh Allen's number, the Pokes laid an egg. This year they put on a pathetic performance at CSU and followed that up with 3 quarters of absolute trash against UNC. Just when I thought they could not get worse, they played at CMU and proved me wrong.
My wife and I will go Saturday because she loves to visit with her old sorority sisters but I suspect that I will be giving away the rest of my season tickets and likely not renewing unless Burman, Sawvel and Bohl are gone.

I strongly considered not attending the UNC game despite flying in from Austin so my daughter could visit The University.
What I ended up deciding was that if the Pokes played like trash like I expected them to, then I would just boo my ass off and chant ‘Fire Sawvel’ at every chance I got. And that’s exactly what I did for damn near three quarters.
It felt more cathartic than just not attending the game. I totally understand the idea of making your opinion known by keeping your wallet in your pants, but it felt damn good to be able to vocally let my displeasure with the program out.

From all indications, it sounds like there are going to be no changes made this year.
President Reeves has said that he has other more important things to fix in the university before focusing on athletics. He got on this very board and branded himself “brilliant”, so we will just have to trust that he is making the right decision there.
Of course, the outcomes will be the true determining factor in regards to his brilliance or lack thereof.

I am 95% sure that WyomingCoog is President Reeves, or at least someone very close to him.
Look at WyomingCoog's post history. His first post was in April in which he chastised this board for not being more excited about Shane Reeves being a final candidate for the open presidential position. He wrote out a pretty long post talking about how great Shane Reeves was, how lucky we were that he was even considering UW, and how he would be the most accomplished President at UW in it's history. He labeled Reeves "brilliant" and a "once in a generation" talent.
Almost all of the rest of his posts are in reference to things President Reeves is doing/plans to do. On the day President Reeves was announced as the new President of UW, he posted "It's a great day to be Wyoming Cowboy. Time to strap in and enjoy the rides boys..." several hours before the hiring was announced publicly.
He has posted "fun facts" about President Reeves, created a thread about Reeves' and Burman's presentation to the BoT, released news about staffing changes in the Cowboy Joe Club, made sure everyone knew about Reeves attendance at fall practices, announced the new tradition of a song between the 3rd and 4th quarters, posted about Reeves' State of the University address, announced the Cowboy Kick Off concert, floated Michael Alford as a potential replacement for AD, and pushed the new homecoming bonfire.
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with President Reeves being a part of this board. He is more than welcome here and I understand his desire to keep his identity under wraps. But if you are going to label yourself brilliant, you better damn well make sure the results can live up to that label.

We went to the Northern Colorado game. My mom commented it was like watching a bad high school team. I don't think she's necessarily wrong. It was not a fun game to watch in person.
That was enough for us this season. Between ticket prices, gas, hotel and food for four people, it's just not worth the money and time to watch the team in this condition.

Let's not go there. The guy seems 100% solid. Only the guy running for governor of Wisconsin can have an alter-ego that big (look up Dirt McGirk and David Crowley). I highly doubt General Reeves was on here calling himself brilliant. He deserves better. Let's give the guy a chance. He did not create this mess and I fully support his efforts to turn this thing around.

If wyocoog is President Reeves that’s cool with me. At least he hears and understands the dire athletics situation better than past presidents. I am fully behind President Reeves. Very happy to have him at UW.
Now please fire Burman!!!! Back up the talk and do what needs to be done!
