DC will call the plays next year and the Pokes will be more up-tempo than ever before. One of the big points of contention this year was the amount of time it took to get a play in.......... Next year will be a different story. Look for the Pokes to run 10% more offensive plays than the last few years.

It is gonna be fun to watch. I hope it is fun to watch in the 2nd half as well. Keep piling on the points don't sit back and let other teams back into it.

I am 100% with BeaverPoke on this I think DC will be much better calling the plays than Brandon was. Brandon started becoming way too conservative in th second half of games and that is on him not DC. DC will be trying to save his job so he is going to be as aggressive as possible for the entire game and put up some big points. He was one of the best offensive coordinators in the country during his time at Mizzou and I think we let it fly here. We have a talented qb who will have gone through three springs already and is ready to lead the offense. Our WR core is very strong and very deep as well with diverse skill sets along it. The Rb position showed potential last year if the O line can improve I do believe we will be putting up at least 30 points a game with DC calling the plays. The O will be good the question is can the d be at least average.

And what if it was DC pulling back on Brandon's reins?

Could be DC's using this season as some sort of crazy audition for a job if he finds him self out of one next January...

What if he was? Then he isn't a good coach. But how will we know?

Don't just think of more reasons to not like DC just because.

But the crazy audition I have thought about.
Maybe he is doing it to save his job, or at least get him another job.
If he focuses more on the offense, we could end up putting up more points. That might win us a lot more games, or that might get him a job as an OC in the Pac12, SEC, or Big12 once he gets fired.

Who knows??? Just let it be.
People are going to be on his back so quick for made up "what-if" situations.

Frankly, Glenn did not get the job done. I hated to see Glenn go as a person, but the results weren't there necessary fora head coach. But let's compare career records of Glenn and DC:

DC: 22 wins out of 49 games for a winning percentage of 44.9%

YES!! DC is amazing!! A whopping 2.65% increase in winnning percentage. Could that increase be partially due to the fact that DC has not had to face Utah or BYU for the last 2 years? The MWC CLEARLY is not as strong as it was a mere few years ago.

Finally, you cite to TWO bowls (New Mexico Bowls). How many years has Wyoming been bowl eligible with DC as head coach in his 4 years? 2 How many times has Wyoming been bowl eligible in Glenn's first 4 years? 2

Sorry, if facts get in your way. Do I think Wyoming makes a bowl this year? Absolutely. But not because of DC. Brett Smith is the best QB to ever come to Wyoming and he will make the difference.

I didn't say best coach ever, I was saying best in a while. Yeah we should have gone to a bowl that year we finished 6-6 and NM got the bid because it was their bowl.

No the MWC is not as strong as it was. But when we haven't had to play Utah we have had to play Boise St.
And like I said earlier, if we get rid of DC we have to start all over. If he doesn't succeed this year I say get rid of him.
Like you said sorry if facts get in your way. And after DC has played 71 games he will have more than 30 wins. DC should get to 30 this season. He has all the tools this year to get to .500 or above. Sorry for being supportive of our coach.

I would hope noone on here would ever ever BET against the Pokes. If so, they should just check out and follow a new team.

I will state what I think the team will finish. But I am not betting with someone who predicts them to do better than I predict, as doing such would in fact be betting against the Pokes.

His kids, especially his daughter in Cheyenne and son that lives here, helped check them out and what not after renters moved out. So during one of these usual checks of one of his aprtments, my great-aunt (his daughter) was helping him check out an aprtment that the owner had recently left. Usually, renters seem to leave something behind (some more than others, having helped cleaned out a few myself), and this one was no different. So, they were cleaning it out and my aunt is in the kitchen scrubbing things down. She opens the fridge and there's a paper bag. When she opens the bag, she drops it and starts screaming at the top of her lungs "IT'S A CAT! IT'S A DEAD CAT!" And runs back to my grandpa's house (this rental is about a block and half away from his place).
