Assigned Seating

How stringent is seating at the cowboys stadium? I went to NIU and was going to meet my friend from NIU who now lives in Denver to go to the cowboys/huskie game however the tickets were a little pricer than I had imagined ($50 for midfield) Can you buy the $20 nosebleeds and just move down or will they check tickets? Or is there a better option to get cheaper tickets?

Thanks for your help!

I definitely hope there isn't a lot of empty seats in the second half, if you catch my drift. You can pretty much sit anywhere

Sit wherever you like, but just make sure to move if someone with a ticket for that seat comes by.

This.....it's fine to move to some better empty seats........I just hate it when people get all pissy when I ask them to let me sit in the seats I paid for

Bottom level of the east stands is the student seating but they never fill the whole thing up. They usually take between the 30's, outside of that is pretty open. They don't check tickets since the students don't have any. Come early and enjoy tailgate!

I recommend staying on the east side, at least for the first half. East side stinks for late afternoon games since the sun is setting right in your face, but the late kickoff won't give you that problem. If you know any current UW students, you can purchase a General Admission guest ticket through them for the price of a youth ticket. Then hang out on the east side (the students stand all game, so be prepared to stand if you want to be at or near midfield) until you see a nice empty pocket of seats somewhere on the other side with the old folks who prefer to sit down.

Call me crazy, but I hate people that pay for a $20 seat, and sit in a $120 seat (or similar). Sit where you have paid to sit. On that topic, anyone see this from the Laramie paper?

What's season tickets go for anyway? If I lived in Laramie that's how I'd roll. Cost analysis, x number of games x price versus season ticket price. We do same for anything that involves a season pass. One time overpriced day ticket or season pass? How many times are we going? It'd be hard to know how many more people would attend if there was a knothole/rock pile type of seat. I think we'd need to call it "the horse stall". Would need to be better ticket seating nazis though

Enjoy the whole lower East side, and maybe learn a thing or two, but it's truly nothing like it used to be, still fun though

I buy season tickets and they are in the nice section on the west side. I never sit in them. They are boring. I like the south endzone or the student section.

If you cheer and yell you will get dirty looks from old grandmas.

I'm old, and I am one who gets dirty looks because I yell so much and so loud. The old geezers that sit (sat) next to me even went so far as bringing ear plugs and would put them in when I start yelling. I don't think I ever saw them stand up and cheer and seldom cheered at all. They finally changed their seat location after several years.

We need more old people like you :)

I've had season tickets in the upper east side. Never been up to my seats. Always stand in the student section. Moving farther away from the rowdy mid field every year but I don't see myself moving to my seats anytime soon.
