Josh Smith is my homeboy! I met him his first year at UW and he has always been a nice kid, and definitely hardworking. So glad to see him getting some playing time. And that hit on Todd Knight yesterday... was huge. Oh and give him some time at WR and he might be one of the best WR's we have. At least most consistent. At least he can catch unlike Herron. Herron had so many drops yesterday it was embarrassing.

Plus him and B. Smith are good friends so there will be some chemistry on the field if given the chance.

love the walk on stories. walk ons who become starters go out there and give it all because they've played their way onto the team. They might not be the fastest, but they play better and smarter than a lot of schollie guys because they make up for what they lack physically.

The walk-on stories are cool.. there were two guys that played for Montana, both in-state walk-ons, and they are now in the NFL, one a safety for the Eagles, the other a Pro Bowl returner/WR for the Titans. That's what's great about college football.. work hard, pay your dues, and you can become an NFL player.

Mitch Unrein was a walk-on and is paying his bills with NFL money
