great article! Sad what happened and that nothing came of a carear My dad has told me about Fennis and the 87 team that made the historical run and how they were supposed to be so good coming into the next season (same as the cover) ive read that article many times they were some peoples pre season picks for the national championship... what couldve been it reflects back on when wyoming beat Gonzaga and then Josh Davis graduated but Wyoming was still supposed to have agreat team and then Marcus Bailey tore his acl early in the year and we made it to the 3rd round of the NIT

The buzz-saw called Loyola-Marymount...ahhh what could have been had they not been a peaking program that year. If I remember, UNLV ran them into the ground in a later NCAA round.

I forgotten that Fennis shot & killed a would-be burgler...that has to be extremely tough to deal with...
 
Yes the great coaching of Benny Dees. We came out after half and slowed the pace down after we kicked their ass playing their own game in the first half. We had the better athletes with more depth and could have run them out of the gym, instead we played right into their hands. ##%!!%!$&*&. :evil:
