An intersting change:

"Christensen and his staff will host the first-ever Cowboy Combine on Friday in the Indoor Practice Facility, beginning at 12:30 p.m. and continuing through 3:30 p.m.

Every Friday during Wyoming’s winter-conditioning program, the Cowboys are tested in the same types of drills that are utilized in the NFL’s Scouting Combine, which is prior to the NFL Draft.

This Friday fans can watch the current Cowboys get tested in five different areas — the vertical jump, standing long jump, three-cone test, 20-yard shuttle and 40-yard dash."

I love the idea of that. Get the kids excited about improving every year, and the outstanding athletes will know where they're standing in terms of making it at the next level. That is absolutely awesome!

Sure it's the play on the field that TRULY means something, but anything to raise the level of motivation just a little extra bit will make a difference in my opinion.

Edit: “We’ve made a dramatic improvement over the past year in our team speed,” Christensen said. “We have had nine players run a 4.4 or better in the 40-yard dash this year. We also feel very good about the improvements our young men have made in their strength and agility.”

That sounds good to me!
