Arizona State prepping to announce June Jones as coach

Yeah, we've known for a while. It's been obvious for days.
Earlier this year, on Wyonation, I said that SMU was a broken team without elaborating........well there you are.

No they've been bitching for days. See, 1 or 2 of the big boosters for ASU are SMU and ASU grads (at least 1 of them). I think it's Tryhus who is a SMOO and Devils grad who is loaded with booster money. And then they have a building named after another one (maybe athletics center).
There's a fire June Jones thread. It's just a mess.
But, honestly, JJ is the same person I've always thought he was so I'm not surprised by his not following through with his coachspeak promises.
Today SMOO is to be announced as joining the Big East and SMOO had it's best recruiting class since the D(ouble)P(enetration) lined up. Well......I gotta stop now.

But just wait. I want to let June Jones go now. I just want to move on from him.
When I talked to the program in 2007 they listened but didn't get exactly what I wanted (I won't tell what I wanted). You see, they at least pretended to listen to US.
JJ was not my preference but I was able to say that it was OK. Not great but ok.
JJ did some good things for SMU and that's good. But really............
 
ASU Boosters are blocking his hiring so JJ may not be the next head coach there.

Yeah. Supposedly it's off now. But I'm ready to move on from JJ.
If not then some of my "support" for "the Red and the Blue" will be going to the MeanGreen (5-7 this year).

There were petitions to make sure he didn't become their head coach!!! Sumlin breaks off talks, JJ gets blocked, who the hell is left?
 
Rumor is that they werre pissed that JJ still has his JuneJonesFoundation to helps University of Hawaii.
 
Yeah. And a lot of this was done by SMU grads. Are they traitors? Maybe.
The search firm guy is an SMU guy (Beaudine?? I think is how his name is spelled).

Chip Brown was just on Arizona Sports 620 and that little bitch who went to SMU........I can't say it.
I'm tired of people talking about something like the SMU program and not speaking well about it.
A reason SMU football suffered for so long wasn't just the DP but the U's refusal to let athletes in.
There were athletes that qualified for Ivy League Unis. that were not allowed into SMU. SMU worked with a lot of ridiculous restrictions.

Sumlin seems to be going to Texas A&M.
I love Kliff Kingsbury. I think.

JJ says yes to ASU, the Devils pull the rug out from under him...

Clearly SMU might be a bit upset with the whole situation....JJ agreed to get a divorce and marry someone else, and the someone else upstaged him....

Hawaii happens to have an opening.....

That's why it's time to move on from JJ. Though we need some of his coaches to stay.
And those players and prospects........
