He's had some very good tutelage in his career. Been away from college basketball for a short bit. He is familiar with the current staff.

Psssst, you just followed him and Kimbrough on Twitter. This was easy!

And it's a name I brought up in a previous thread. Worked with Edwards at VCU. Has NYC ties.

Is it the same guy that has a last name close to a baseball player? If so I think it is a great pick up for an assistant and ties to recruiting.

With everything that Titleist has told us, yes I'm very confident it's him.
 
I'm so lost its not funny...I PM'd monkey dude to ask who he thinks it is, but he doesn't like me enough to respond. Haha

Letdown? The guy has been an NBA assistant under George Karl for years. I think he would be a very good coach if he is the mysterious JW.

He has been in the NBA for years. I think we need a college recruiter which Pujol fits. Reading Pujol's bio he fits being a lead recruiter and is a great defensive coach. Seemed like a real nice complement for this staff.

You must've been dreaming with Pujol. No way in hell would we be able to pay him what he's getting paid at Alabama. Sure they're a football school, but they still have money to throw around to other sports. You think being in the NBA hurts?! Are you stupid?! Kids want to go to the NBA and having someone who knows what it's like will b helpful. If this is the hire, I think it's solid.

Did I say being in the NBA hurts? Are you stupid? Point is that being in the NBA doesn't lend itself to being a recruiter. I am not the one that brought up Pujol. Lots of speculation on here but that's okay if you ignored reading the previous posts.

And guess what, Pujol is not at Alabama anymore, left in 2014. He is now an AAU coach in New Jersey. Guess we can probably pay him what he is getting from Alabama.
