Apparently DC and an FAU Coach Had Words

From the FAU board:

Coach Kirk Hoza and Wyoming Coach Dave Christensen almost came to blows on the field just after the game regarding Hoza's claim that Wyoming was cheating. he said UNLV accused Wyoming of the same offense and would report it to the NCAA. The coaches exchanged verbal abuse and finally, Christensen uttered a couple of profanity-laden statements ending in "we kicked your fxxxxxx asses!" Police, other coaches and players has to step in between the coaches.

Hoza and the FAU team were upset that officials alowed 47 second to tick off the clock as Wyoming was waiting to punt for the last time and FAU needed the time to try to move the ball and score. the Wyoming QB was fightiuung for yardage and was forced out of bound, but the officials let the clock wind down, saying he was down.

Earlier in the game, Wyoming appeared to have scored on a fake field goal pass, but the play was called back because of what the officials called an offensive personal foul.

How exactly did we cheat???

Coach Dave would kill that scrawny dude

First things first, the NCAA needs to investigate the worst officials in college football history.

So winning is cheating now? *shrugs* Who knew? But I think it was very eloquently put, "We kicked your fucking asses!" Pretty much says it all.

Yeah, I would like to know how WE cheated?? I admit the officiating was horrible, but that's not our fault

From the look's of that picture the moral of the story is don't piss off a man who just had a kidney stone removed!

Sooooo....it's our fault the officials can't keep time....Yes. Of course. That makes perfect sense. Better get the word out to the rest of the conference we have the secret weapon of being able to control the game clock by super human means. seriously, wtf?

DC should have thrown some kidney stones at him.

Technically, one of the only ways to "throw" a kidney stone would be to ... uhh... pee on him? Hmm..

That's right, I just went there.

Well that's true. Unless for some reason he kept them in a jar in his pocket. for good luck or something. But either way, I'm going to have to say I'd allow it. :D

Who cares.

A win is a win.

All UW needs to do is beat New Mexico, SDSU, and Colorado State to be bowl eligible.

Doesn't the 6 wins have to be against D-1 opponents to qualify for a bowl?
I think you allowed to use a win over a 1-AA every 3 years or something? Not sure

With the 12 game schedule standard now, you can use 1 FCS win every year. So we only need 3 more wins to get bowl eligible.

Yep! We were hometowned from the get go. And let me tell you all...what I saw on the field, was a scrappy Wyoming team playing the Florida Penitentiary Allstars...they were a dirty team (reminded me of Fresno State in the 90's). Ask any of our lineman how many times they were blocked below the waist!

The fake field goal call was announced (to the white hat before the game, like it is supposed to). The head linesman (or linejudge) wasn't on the same page, and called the PF. THAT was bullshit...and a bullshit call.

Lastly, when ACS rolled out on 3rd down at the end of the game, he was hit HARD out of bounds, that could have easily decided the game, with a 15 yard PF penalty & first down. They didn't make the call, but did determine that he was shoved out, and left the clock running.

all and all we overcame more than 11 players on the field and that shows a lot of our team and the growth of the freshmen

Somebody needs to review film of this play to determine if the zebras really blew the call. There are other issues to consider, besides whether or not DC informed the officiating crew before the game. The most critical may be, where did Arnold line-up before going into the set position? A player is required to be set "inside the numbers" that mark the field yardage before the ball is snapped. I was at the game and can't swear he was legally set.

This play aside this was the worst officiated college game I have ever seen. The only saving grace is that the zebras were equal opportunity bad. FAU got screwed as bad as we did.
