December 3, 2012 AP Men's Basketball Poll - Wyoming ranked 40th.

December 10, 2012 AP Men's Basketball Poll - Wyoming ranked 29th.

December 17, 2012 AP Men's Basketball Poll - Wyoming ranked 29th.

So I really think next Poll we will be in the same place unless Pittsburgh or Oregon manages to lose tonight so keep your eyes on those games as they really are the games that will make or break us moving out of 29th place.

Oregon (9-1, 0-0 Pac-12) @ UTEP (3-5, 0-0 C-USA)

Delaware St (5-6, 1-0 MEAC) @ Pittsburgh (10-1, 0-0 Big East)

If ever you were going to root for someone else it's UTEP and Delaware state tonight because if those teams manage to win we could see ourselves very close to breaking into the Polls. Obviously there are other teams playing that are currently in the top 25 but those won't impact us as much as the teams we are fighting to get in.

UTEP on a pretty good run 9-0 atm up 16-9 not that it matters that much but UTEP is playing strong ball.

UTEP upsets Oregon 91 - 84 this is going to help us with getting votes moving closer to that top 25 rank!!

That is UNC's 3rd loss. Their name won't be able to keep them in the polls any longer. Plus they have UNLV on the 29th in Chapel Hill. It will be a tough game for UNLV, but if the Rebels can pull it off, it will give the MWC even more bragging rights and probably bounce UNC from the polls for the rest of the year.

I thought I heard NC State lost a couple nights ago as well, but it appears I heard wrong. We need to win on Friday, but if we're not ranked next week, we'll be damn close. Probably about #26 or 27.

A national ranking would be a damn fine Christmas present for a group of Wyoming fans that had their hopes so brutally crushed during football season.
