I "hear" that the contract went to his lawyer/agent today. They have a solid handshake on it. Another reason there has been no presser is that DC went back for the senior banquet and will be back for a formal press conference. However, a "birdy" told me that UW will make an announcement today. When he came saturday night, it was pretty much a done deal. He toured the facilities, meet with some of the old coaching staff that he "might" be interested in, met with some of the big $$$ people, the board of trustees, and things like that. This is a done deal. But, UW is letting him make the decisions about the presser. AND, if you think about it, the more coverage that UW gets out of this while waiting for the presser, the better off we are because it creates more hype. I highly doubt that the HC of Mizzou would have said what he said without it being a done deal.
