This team is one concussion away from being mediocre at best

Yeah and the Denver Broncos are 1 injury away from being mediocre at best. What happens if Peyton goes down? What happens if Drew Brees goes down? Tom Brady? Russell Wilson? That's how football is now a days.

The Broncos still play defense, the Saints have an outstanding defense, the Pats won the Super Bowl with a back-up QB.......that is not how football is now a days.....good TEAMS and good coaches make sure they are not reliant on any one individual!

The Broncos do not sniff at the Super Bowl without Peyton, and are favorites with him. The Pats with a back-up QB that is one of the best in history, and the Saints are nothing without Brees. That is how football is today, everyone relies pretty much solely on their QB for offense and without them they suffer mightily.

If A&M lost Johnny Manziel for an extended period of time they aren't in the top 10 in the country. If Georgia lost Aaron Murry for an extended period of time they would be hard pressed to be a top 25 team. It's a QB driven game now.

Exactly right

It is a QB driven game but both TAMU and UGA along with all good teams have other weapons to keep them competitive. I stand corrected in that Matt Cassel led the Pats to an 11-5 record in 08. Without Smith Wyo maybe beat Hawaii. The Saints did have Drew Brees last year but did not have their coach....Wyo needs more than Smith in order to stay competitive......I will remain skeptical about their potential and their coaching until they prove otherwise!

What!?

Are you saying that Brady is an average backup QB when the Patriots won the Super Bowl in 2001??? Brady was way better than Bledsoe. No way the Patriots win the Super Bowl that year with their "starter".

No they won due to their kicker. Remember?

Although the Rams outgained the Patriots 427–267 in total yards, New England built a 17-3 third-quarter lead off of three St. Louis turnovers. After a holding penalty in the fourth quarter negated a Patriots fumble return for a touchdown, Warner scored a 2-yard touchdown run and threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to tie the game, 17-17 with 1:30 remaining. Without any timeouts, Brady led his team down the field to set up kicker Adam Vinatieri's game-winning 48-yard field goal as time expired. Brady, who completed 16 of 27 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown, was named Super Bowl MVP.
