Any word on Ticket Sales?

not too well from what I've read. On face book today CJC said there have been only 3,000 sold.

CSU sold more than that last year. Wyoming fans need to step up this last week and buy some damn tickets.

It wouldn't surprise me if that number is considerably higher with people that bought tickets from the bowl website instead of through Wyoming with the stupid 25 dollar fee. That was just stupid, I bought my tickets through the UW ticket office, but it would have saved me 15 dollars to go through the Bowl. The ticket office should have just used the same 5.50 service fee that the bowl had instead of that 25 dollar flat fee. Just my opinion though.

Just checked, and the 25$ fee is down to 10$. Might have something to do with the priority term ending.

Our fan base better step up and support our team, otherwise this will be embarrassing.

It would also help if the NM bowl didn't hold the best seats for themselves. I bought through UW and mine are in FF, somewhere between the 40 and the 28. A co-worker bought his through the NM bowl and got them right on the 50.

I agree about the sections, but that seems common for bowls to try to sell the 50 yard line seats themselves. Still have a few days left, the weather is supposed to be good. Hope all of Poke Nation decides to party it up...and turn Albuquerque into a home field for the Pokes. It should be fun!

I put in my order fairly early (Tuesday the 1st) and my tickets are on about the 25 yard line. Lesson learned I guess. I must have been the last person assigned seating of the 3000 tickets!LOL

I should have purchased through UW, but I bought them through the NM ticket office and got row 12, 50 yard line for the same price.

If they could somehow get 5k people there or so, it will be loud enough. Wyoming fans are blessed with golden lungs.

I would say it might be a blessing in disguise that a lot of people bought through the NM office. There might just be Wyoming fans all over the stadium now being loud, instead of in one end :P

Hopefully there are enough fans going to make it so.

I'm one of those that make so much noise on 3rd and long that the people in front of me turn around and grimmace while trying to sneak a peek at this noisy son-of....... I love it! Get 3 beers in my wife and she makes ME grimmace!! LMAO
One thing I always hated as an Air Force ticket holder was the fact that the retirees that go to all the games there think that (silenting) pushing their hands in the air symbolizing pushups is all the support a team needs! LOL
I was proud of the Poke fans at CSU..... we made a lot of racket!

I've lost my voice twice over the last three weeks because of making stadium noise.. I'm barely cutout to be an out of control football fan, but being a rockstar is definitely out of the question. I'm currently still hoarse..

My wife sounded like a mix between Debra Winger and Linda Blair for 3 days after the CSU game and she only had 2 beers! I had a ball just watching her get so emotional!

I usually lose my voice for a day after a game - I think that game where we last beat BYU in Laramie is the worst my voice has been after a football game.

It still doesn't beat what happened after the Joe Sakic retirement game a couple of months ago. My throat felt raw almost a full week after.

After the UM/SDSU game I completely had no voice for three days, then somehow caught a cold in the midst of that, so I was missing my voice for 3 days after that too.. FRICK!!!! :)

Don't feel bad. Beginning of October I got bronchitis and mono at the sametime. There were days I could hardly breathe, which sucked when cheerring for the Pokes. :brick:

Fro this morning's Fresno newspaper...

New Mexico Bowl update

The New Mexico Bowl was said to be on a solid pace for a crowd of about 30,000 with roughly 23,000 tickets sold as of Tuesday afternoon, executive director Jeff Siembieda said.

The Bulldogs (8-4) face Wyoming (6-6) at 39,224-seat University Stadium in Albuquerque, N.M.

Fresno State has sold roughly 200 tickets and expects about 600 to attend, associate athletic director Paul Ladwig said.

Fresno State and Wyoming received a 6,000-ticket allotment and were expected to receive roughly $375,000 each for their participation in the bowl.
