Might just be me but the RB rotations seem a little quirky this year?
Damajsa Harris has chosen not to play. He isn't happy with his NIL.The coaching staff keeps saying that they'll "ride the hot hand", but in practice it looks like rotating backs in and out every 3-5 plays through the first 2-3 series and going from there. Sometimes that rotation excludes backs, too. For instance, there was a game where we saw Tote Harris, Terron Kellman, and Max White, but no Sam Scott. Damasja Harris hasn't gotten one carry this season.
Harris and Scott are tied with 268 yards each this season. Kellman has 143. Everyone else is negligeable. I'm a believer in a 1-2 punch, but it seems the coaches just want a bellcow. They need to settle on a lineup and go with it. There's definitely room for 3 backs to spread the wealth, but this "OR" crap on the depth chart just shows that the coaches aren't willing to make a decision and move forward with it.
For real? If so, GTFO.Damajsa Harris has chosen not to play. He isn't happy with his NIL.
Not only that...which I am in complete agreement with...running Scott outside is absolutely ridiculous. He is a between the tackles RB. Which we all know, but apparently VaJayJay Sawful does not.For me - more proof that our staff is incompetent. With the weather, Sam Scott was the obvious choice to get the rock early in the game against UNLV (Tote Harris’ game relies on the ability to be shifty and jump cut). Instead, the staff handed the rock to Harris on the first few drives and resulted in 1 yard when UNLV gifted us the ball at the 20. Unsurprisingly, Sam Scott gave the team a lift when he finally got the call in the first drive of the 2nd half.
In perfect conditions, Harris is the obvious choice. But how anyone with any football sense could look at the field and decide against utilizing your prototype fullback with pass catching ability (listed at RB) is beyond stupid.
Dude's lucky to have a roster spot, and he thinks his NIL is bad??Damajsa Harris has chosen not to play. He isn't happy with his NIL.
VaJayJay Sawful kills me every time I read it.Not only that...which I am in complete agreement with...running Scott outside is absolutely ridiculous. He is a between the tackles RB. Which we all know, but apparently VaJayJay Sawful does not.
If true, hope he never sees the field anywhere.Damajsa Harris has chosen not to play. He isn't happy with his NIL.
Who? Honest question. Was he supposed to be good?Damajsa Harris has chosen not to play. He isn't happy with his NIL.
