Yeah. RB was a position of need for sure. I think some of the defensive guys look useful, too.

None of it matters if Sawhead hasn’t learned to recognize talent and who should be starting this offseason. I’d love to be wrong and hope the team does well, but based on his coaching ineptitude last year the verdict is still out.

My disdain for Sawvel is well documented, but some of the blame also lies at the feet of Jay Johnson as the QB Coach/OC.

At some point, like after the terrible Idaho loss, Johnson should have stepped in and strongly encouraged Sawvel to make a change at QB. Are you going to let your career go down the shitter because you have a HC that wants to play an atrocious QB because a previous coach no longer on staff told him Svboda was going to be good some day?

Either Johnson is complicit in that debacle or he did push for a change and we just don't know it. The latter would make Sawvel even dumber. This coaching staff is such a joke.
