CSU had a miracle victory over UNC on their way to 2-10.

The only games on the schedule that scream potential are NIU and UTEP but I have my reservations about anything automatic in those games.

When you have the 132nd ranked team in scoring offense nationally and gave up 24 to a team also ranked 132nd it says you are the more pathetic team.

At this rate 1-11 isn’t out of reach but I think it’s more reasonable to go with 3-9 because all it takes is playing the best game ever before returning to normal.

Unfortunately, I don’t think so. Hawaii will kill us at home, then onto Fargo for their first home MWC game off a bye. Two lopsided losses there. Then on the road to San Jose, where historically we’ve sucked, another loss, then back home to face NIU in front of around 10,000 fans. Kids come out lethargic and play like the UNC game. This one they could win, but it’s a toss up. Then Air Force comes to town. Hopefully they bring all of their cadets so there’s actually some people in the stands. Pokes get trounced on the ground in this one and limp into their bye. After the bye, go on the road for 2 more ass kickings, then return to the War to get shalacked by New Mexico. This is where we’ll see the announced attendance be like 12,000, but anyone there knows it’s more like 5,000. Finally, we wrap up in front of a near empty War with….UCONN. And lose. Sad.

This is definitely Sawvel's worst team in his three years as head coach. That being said, this is also the worst schedule in his three years as head coach. We will likely find a way to get 1 or 2 more wins before the season is over, despite this probably being the worst Wyoming football team ever.

As the talent has concentrated even further into the P4 since NIL, the floor for the G6 teams has really sunk. There is some really bad football being played in the G6 ranks. I think a lot of lower level G6 programs are saying, "this is our worst team ever".

What's the old saying? No matter how bad you are, there's always somebody worse. We'll get a few more wins. A qb change, a blizzard at the War, or even a flu virus that crushes the other team can offset our tremendous coaching deficit.

I think you’re right. Our schedule is just so bad that there is some other win left.

Maybe Landon Sims or Drube come in and give a spark against a really really bad NIU. Then Cody Tucker lets us all know that the ‘ship has been turned around’ and we are on the cusp of greatness.

Actually that gives us a really strong chance to win at least one more game this season. It just means we are only favored in one remaining game but the overall odds of losing out are very low according to those distributions.

With those numbers, the odds of losing out is only 7.95% with a 92% chance of winning at least one more game.
