Any intel on the guys who left?

One said that he was "burnt out" from football (kind of pissed me off with that, you know) and the other one wanted to be closer to home (which I can sympthize with).

Thanks. I was wondering if DC's work ethic may have had something to do with it. He sure seems to have set high standards with his practices. Doesn't sound like that's the case with these two guys but you never know.

Well, the one that was "burnt out" was playing on the 1st team, and the other one may have been on the second. Both were O-line. So, not like that either of them wouldn't have been able to play.

The one who was a starter transferred to Wyoming from a JC at semester. Maybe it took him a spring practice to realize this isnt' JC ball anymore. I don't think the other guy was on the two deeps....maybe 3.

in the end, it was probably too much work for something they probably didn't love to play. the scholly thing sounds great.....all the work (especially with DC) doesn't. i get the idea that a guy better love playing football or else it won't be any fun.

Yep, DC wants 110% from everyone on the team - anything less won't cut it. Takes longer to build a team that way, but the results are better in the long run.
