Coach Pujol was lead recruiter. Good for him. Big time get
I saw that too. Not bad for your first year on the job!

If memory serves correct, he came here from that area.. so probably saw him in person at some point.

Me too Pokefan.

I don't know if it's this year, 2017, 2018, but were about to win titles in football and hoops in the same season.

Thank god basketball starts tomorrow.

Let's see if wrestling can knock Oklahoma State off of their pedestal...

As some have pointed out, it does appear Edwards is bringing in a higher level of recruit than even Papa Shy. Now it is up to Edwards to coach these guys up. I have faith that he will. Seems to really understand the game of basketball and has a very high pedigree.

Go Pokes!!!

I can't believe I'm saying this before he coaches a game, but if he can get that level of recruit to Laramie, with just a little success on the court you have to wonder if bigger schools will come calling...

:( chills go down the spine...................true and dark words. Lets not speak of that name again for awhile in relation to our new coach. Makes me feel like :puke: Seen a lot of great "recruiters" get torched by real coaches in the hoops game...cough, Heath piece of shit cough, cough.......

The link will probably be up tomorrow so people can listen, but Anthony Mack is incredibly well spoken, extremely intelligent, and sounds like a real team player.

Great interview for Anthony Mack. He sounds like a leader and a really good get.

The fact that Villanova coach visited him 4 times In the last two weeks says a lot. Huge get

That's what gets me excited about this commit. Villanova is a team that is annually in the mix for Top 25 recruiting classes (according to ESPN, 33rd in 2016, 24th - 2015, 37th in 2014, 31 in 2013). But they are typically finishing even higher than their recruiting classes lie (#4 to start this season, finished 11th last year, 12th in '14-15). This tells me that although they are getting a good recruiting class, they are doing much better than expected. Part of this could be identifying impact players and developing them into studs. If Jay Wright was that interested in this kid, UW got a steal!

The more I think about Anthony Mack joining the team the happier I get. Kid looks like a sniper. How long has it been since we had one of those lights out 3 point shooter guys? I feel like all the other teams always had them on us for a long time. The team is gonna have to find out how to handle the rock by committee but that's fine. Excited to see what Mack's roll is gonna be next year. Most likely he's the one who doesn't redshirt of the 3 recruits.

Wyoming verbal commit Anthony Mack brings hard-working reputation to Cowboys (trib.com)

"He guards Power Five conference guys in probably half of our games," Mantegna said. "He plays with and against high-level players every day in practice, every day in workouts. The prep school level out east here, it’s the highest level of high school basketball in the country, and that’s what he was looking for, and frankly he’s been successful from Day One playing at this level."

We may be more excited about this kid than we were about Hunter. This kid is BIG TIME!
