Another solid pickup

Why so many WR? I would think there are bigger fish to fry at this point. Shit you would think we were still running the spread! How about an offensive lineman that can run block, or for Hell's sake how about a DB that can cover and tackle?

We already have a couple OL's in this group, how many do you think we need to get every year?
Also sometimes WRs transition to safeties or corners, may happen with some of our new recruits or current guys.
But if I'm not mistaken, we have a couple of DBS and S on this list already too.
I think this staff has reached out and pulled in one of our best recruiting classes in years.

Yeah, After talking with a few guys it is the general feeling that they can develop the linemen that they have on the roster. The Dbs however are another story. I worry about that aspect more than anything.

This is definitely something I've changed my opinion on. I used to think linemen had to be recruited, but after watching G5 teams have consistently solid lines, it is apparent that coaching plays a huge part.

Decent linemen (i.e. appropriate size, strength, etc.) are recruited. Good linemen (i.e. actual skill) are made at this level. Superstars are recruited and made (sans a few overlooked diamonds in the rough).
