andy kats made a mention about wyoming in his blog today... said something about the remaining unbeaten teams... also said that wyoming will make post season barring a collapse.

espn latest basketball power index: has wyoming at 28. ahead of kentucky and sandiego. right behind notre dame.

pretty amazing pub. we have to defend home court against ucsb! if we do, next weeks polls release will be very interesting.

Im glad we get another break after this game. on the road at smu will be a challenge.

just focus on ucsb. cant wait for tip off.

Lets GO POKES!

One game at a time. We've got to give UCSB a loss in Laramie. With streak pressure, the top 25 looming, and a big road trip to SMU coming up, it would be easy to get caught up and let one slip.

I've liked our consistency so far. Let's see how we do under the glare of the national media and with a record hanging in the balance.

I thought the three game stretch at UCSB, CU at home, and Something Illinois on the road was a great test. We passed it dramatically. The hype around the record is another great learning opportunity.

We've got a lot of youngsters. Hopefully we'll keep our heads in check. I've got no reason to expect that we won't.

More pub today from cbs sports and andy kats

kats did a conference power standings. had wyoming sitting at 4th in the mountain west. In the opening paragraph he also noted that the mountain west is the only conference that has two undefeated teams, with indiana losing.

cbs sports did a article about byu and weber state, but it had a mention that we are the only team playing tonight with an undefeated record.

Im a little miffed about the combination of these two articles, just on a personnal bias. there is always an underlying quick statement that leads the reader to believe that we are a fluke.

I get the sos arguement... but im starting to get a fan's "chip on my shoulder" about this issue.

I kinda want the team to develop that as well. not a shocked by the record attitude, but an attitude that they belong, and will prove it.

adversity is right around the corner, starting tonight. every game is a battle to change the culture of this program and how its received throughout the media.

the two aspects of our team that are our strengths, defense and free throw shooting, we lead the mountain west in both. Those two strenghts however are what make teams great. historically, defense and free throw shooting equate to consistant game performance and wins.

ADU baby... believe it. this team is becoming our coach's personality.
