And so it begins...

I agree that the defense must get better, or wyoming is in for another down year. Last year we had no push up front defensively and no pressure from the ends. It was frustrating to watch a team like Air Force go deep on us. Also the LBs have got to get pressure on with the blitz. We would take it on chin when we would blitz. Hopefully our JC recruiting pays off.

Looking at the updated roster, it appears the redshirt year for a couple guys may have paid off as well. The three freshman DT's (Olive, Appleby and Hardy) are 300, 290 and 300 respectively. In addition to those two, Boyland the JC recruit is 310ish, and there is a freshman from Cheyenne who is over 300. Does anyone know who Du'Ryan Ebbesen is? Add in Mertens, and we have some size. Now can they stop the run?

Many of the Olinemen also added weight.

The pieces are falling into place for a decent year IMO.

Go Pokes!!

Don't know about the quality yet, but it looks like we are getting some depth and size.

Agreed......I think anywhere from 6-6 to 8-4 is more than likely. I just shake my head at this 10+ wins crap. Some people never learn.

Way too early for predictions for me.

Ditto. Hell, we could have been 8-4 last year if Smith didn't get injured.
