And so ends one ofthe most chaotic days in football.

So many upsets today on so many levels!

Also, BSU's defense was sliced and diced for 40+ points tonight. Hawaii lost, again. Their offense is worse than ours, but their defense, when fresh, is solid. SJSU blew out UNLV. Air Force edged out Navy. So on and so forth.

All I've learned this season is this: Stop comparing performances from one team to another. Boise State got whipped by Air Force's defense, arguably the MW's worst, then carves up the MW's top-ranked defense in Nevada.

We're in one of those seasons where it's a week-by-week case. Quite frankly, anything can happen.

with all of these upsets, the selection committee will still find a way to screw teams.

Even without all of these upsets, the seleciton comitte would find a way to screw teams...it's just how the system is set up!

Wide open year. It will be interesting to hear the bitching about the four that get selected for the playoff.

Maybe they'll expand to 8 in a couple of years? I hope so.

And Washington State's quarterback three for more yards in one game than Kirk will all season!

ya Halliday set a new FBS record with 734 yards.
Yeah, that's pretty impressive.

But I will say, Kirk has thrown for over 1000 yards so far. Not great, but there it is.

I'm excited for Ole Miss, and hope they can keep it up. Still remember how friendly their fans were even after we beat them two years in a row.

That is now on my bucket list, Going to an Ole Miss or Miss St game. It would be nice if it was against Wyoming but they know what game day is and the atmosphere on the east coast when it comes to CFB is 100% better.
