And Kentucky's dream season is over!

The 7000 fans supporting them is the reason why we won our first conference championship since 2002. Love and support makes you play better. If you don't know that, I'm guessing that you never played sports, which proves what Trey and his high school coach were saying to begin with.

Let me ask you a question. If it was your kid, would you post 0 for 26 nonsense on his twitter page? Would you create drama about him on Wyonation if what was your kid?

If so, b.s. If not, why not?
7000 fans aren't on this board. You're assuming that because I vent frustrations on this board that I go to the games and say the same thing. There is a reason boards like this exist. It's a "safe place" to vent, in theory. And you really think Hank and his dad weren't talking about his struggles? I would absolutely talk with my son with the things plaguing him.

Since you seem to be following me, show me where I attacked any of the players on Twitter . I admit, I have blown up on this board, but I have never attacked our players in Twitter. I have questioned play calling and scoreless stretches but have never once singled out a player in Twitter.

OK Cowboys I learn things from TV movies.
1.) You're foot will never get well as long as there is a horse standing on it.
2.) The grass is always greener over the septic tank.

You would talk to your kid about it. I guarantee you wouldn't start a thread about it and call attention to it. You would join someone elses conversation to defend him. You wouldn't be the one that pointed the spotlight on him.

There's a reason for that: negativity doesn't help young adults succeed.

This board and the other board aren't safe havens. They're bastions of negativity that the players, players families, and players friends read. Even if they avoid the boards(like they should), their brothers and friends are going to tell them what's being said about them. There's no avoiding it. They are going to want to defend themselves and their teammates from the garbage that is slung at them on these boards. They have a right to and they SHOULD defend their teammates.

Until someone can show me how negativity helps, then I will vigorously defend the players on social media and message boards. They don't deserve the garbage that's posted on any social media. It doesn't help them succeed. It doesn't help them win. It doesn't help them conduct themselves with class.

I want Wyoming to win with class. Until someone can prove to me how stirring up drama or slinging negative comments helps that, I will always defend them.

No shit a dad wouldn't start a thread talking shit about his son....DUH. I'm not his dad. And I'm assuming because you conpletely sidestepped my question, you couldnt back your numerous claims that I talk shit to players on social media, because I don't.

I do agree that the players need positivity and support. Just like the fans need to vent and bitch and moan. You choose to be self righteous while I choose to be real. I'm hot headed. I hate losing, I hate being mediocre. I want the Cowboys to be #1 every year. I fly off the handle in here because I feel safe. I don't on Twitter because it's not the right place for it. So when morons like you say I should expect drama and hostility because of all the shit I talk it chaps my ass because it's totally off base. Especially to someone like Trey washington.

I agree with Itsuckstobeacsuram.

Trey Washington the perfect peach he is was a douche bag because itssuckstobeacsuram didn't play college ball.
Remember this is the same Trey Washington that threatened a kid on campus simply because the kid said Hankerson needs benched.

Are you kidding me?

Trey Washington scored as many points on the championship team as I did. Which is even less than Jack Bentz and Matt Sellers. The kid thinks he is fucking great and he is an incredible douche bag horrible representative of our team.

I can handle him talking his game if he actually had beef or drama or whatever with me. But to act like that because I don't play ball is comical.

Was his incident on campus tied to the Larry Nance, "we don't need fans like you" situation?

Basically yeah.

A random UW student, tweeted "Hankerson needs benched."
Those players don't follow that kid, so then essentially searched for any tweets containing their names or someone told them about it.
Larry said "we don't need fans like you" several others chipped in and Trey ended up being the ultimate internet tough guy with a tweet that said something along the lines of "You just insulted my family so you better watch your back when I see you" or something like that.

Total fucking douche bag.

The whole time all that was going on, the kid who had the innocent 3 word tweet got blasted by several UW players and then all he did was point out a bunch of stats about how Hank at one point was shooting the ball well then was in like a 6 game slump, except he actually had stats and didn't just summarize like I did. They continued to tweet about the kid and he literally did not say another word.

I saw your tweets about how you said you called it about Wiscy and then saw him act a fool again.
It's ridiculous the way some athletes act.

Did anyone see what Brandon Ewing tweeted?

Ewing tweeted something like "College athletes tweet about how great Kentucky is, but Kaminsky tweets about how he wants Kentucky and that's the difference"

I saw it and he's exactly right. Kaminsky has wanted it since last season. It's actually why I am leery of the game tomorrow. I think yesterday was their national championship. I wonder if they'll be able to ramp it back up. Duke and Coach K are no joke.

Yeah that may be too much of an emotional victory to turn around and beat Duke for the National Championship.
Would be a great story if they came out and won it though.

No doubt

Kentucky has all sorts of talent. If these guys stayed 3 more, they would definitely be one of the best ever. It seemed like they tried to slow it down at about 5:30 or so to protect their lead. Mistake, IMO

I think we'll see a lot more of this; highly talented but young teams.

As it sits, yeah, not even in conversation for best ever. Good run by them, and great game by Wiscy.

I agree 1016...very confused on the direction of this thread. It changed topic about 5 times...anywho...

As Wisconsin is my #2 team, today is a BIG day...Go Badgers! And as always, Go Pokes!

How many minutes did you practice with the team?
How many minutes have you been on the university of Wyoming campus? Hell, how many minutes have you stepped foot in the state?

I never claimed to have as big of an impact on the team from my couch as someone who is on the team and practiced with the team every day.
