Alvester Alexander released by Bears

Wow, good luck to him and I think we have all heard the arguments for his "need" to leave early...but I think it is pretty clear that was a poor decision.
 
This really is too bad. I think AA was positioned to have an outstanding year for the Pokes. Although I really was pulling for his success, I am not surprised he was cut. I wish him the best, although I am not surprised of this outcome.
 
I was pretty surprised to see him leave.....2012 had big things in store for him. I hope he has a plan for the future...cause this seemed like an unnecessary gamble all along. Not only does he miss out on UW football, but a college degree too. Hope he finishes school....

It has been said many times before that he already graduated.

Where are you getting that from? The statement that I remember reading said that he intended to graduate (in the future). I would have a hard time believing that he played football and graduated in 3 years.

I hope he does graduate, but without the football scholarship that is obviously more difficult.
