Air Force game

I was afraid we would lose out w/o Nance losing another person on top of that we're playing with the end of the bench that has literally zero game time played. We don't have anyone that has even come close to stepping up for what we lost in Nance.

Great season until when it counted then we shit ourselves, Hope next year those deep bench players see more play time so when this shit happens again we actually have a chance to been shitty teams instead of just falling apart.

Wyoming Athletics, Where we win in Wrestling.

There are just not enough horses on this team to win any more games this year. No depth kills this team again this year. The life of a Wyoming fan.........wait till next year.

We need a thread solely for these slogans.

Wyoming Athletics: Wipe that stupid smile off your face....Mr. Fuckin' Howdy Doody.

There's too much dead weight on the bench. If Halderson and Mcnamen couldn't get in this game, what does it say about their talent and potential at UW?

Another game where we actually shot better than the other team, but still lost. If there is anything that has made me happy these last 3 games though it's been Sobey (I can't believe I'm saying it). A real shame he couldn't hit that last shot but actually had a solid night to make it 3 games in a row. Granberry played pretty good too. Adams was productive by making it to FT line, but was embarrassingly awful from the field. Grabau just has to step up given the losses in personnel we have.

It really sucks to lose at home to a team that I feel was pretty weak, but I'm feeling better than I did after Saturday's loss. I honestly feel that we will be able to win another game this season, but we're gonna have to rely on our D and we're gonna be playing with a small margin of error.

I believe this was the only game we had the chance to win, USU & CSU are both going to chew us up and spit us out.

Don't they play BSU Saturday? I think USU and CSU are next week.

Ya but that game is going to be so brutal I'd rather not talk about it.

Really? Outside of the CSU game, Boise's been squeaking by teams. They'll be favored to win, but I can't see a anyone beating a Shyatt team by double-digits at AA.

Did you watch the same team over the last 2 games? The game tonight is the closest game you will see until the end. We have absolutely no depth at all right now and we have people getting hurt. Granberry hurt his knee left the court and went to the locker room I don't even wanna speculate on that.

This team is done for I would rather see people that get no play time get a lot of play time so we can see what we will have next year. At this point we could even miss the CBI quite easily. It won't stop me from watching and cheering them on but the air from this team has been deflated in a bad way.

Unfortunately the teams BSU is squeaking by is UNLV and UNM...and AFA had only won 1 game out of their last 9 coming in...

I think since Nance went down, all Wyoming fans are experiencing the 5 stages of grief - denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and finally acceptance. We are all at various stages - me, I'm at the acceptance stage.

This team is done. They looked like they might just be able to give us all a magical ending to the year, but then the Wyoming curse hits and Nance goes down, Hankerson decides to play Cheech and Chong, and now it looks like Granberry and maybe even Cooke got nicked a bit tonight. I hate to say it, but there is no way this team beats BSU, USU, and then CSU. They probably won't get a bye, and that means they will be out in the first round of the MWC. I love the Cowboys and will be rooting for them, but I think it is almost time to "Turn out the lights, the party's over."

I went straight from anger and feeling sorry for Nance the second he hit the floor to -> CSU molesting us in that high school gym -> acceptance that we are done. All those other feelings I had last year with Martinez never even crossed my mind. I had to see what we would do against CSU to know where we stand I honestly didn't think we could beat AFA at home and don't think we can beat anyone else :(

I really hope next year isn't like the last 2 years. Just once I'd love to experience solid contribution from a team and bench all year long. It's been a long time since I've seen that so that's all I want.

Now comes the dreaded, I have high hopes for Football thing.

How do we know this basketball season was a success? We didn't start looking forward to football until mid-late February.
When do you think we will start looking forward to hoops? End of September?

Umm, October to November, We know we have a crazy early stretch where we will be playing tough teams and we'll have to see how it works out. Then everyone will have hopes that we can play against some MWC teams and depending on how we do we'll start talking about Basketball either early October because on the field we are getting shit on or Late November because Bohl made believers out of all of us.

That is my prediction let's see how it pans out.
