Is there any reason to play hoops (apart from the exercise) if it is not fun?

The only other reason I can think of is when, at a small school, all of one's peers are deprived of the opportunity to play if a single person refuses to play.

As for Air Force, I do not know what their ceiling is for consistent success. I do not think that they can do like Utah did and stay in the Top 10 for several seasons in a row.
