Aggies take the lead on YBU!

Hill 90% likely done for the game. For the season? A big possibility. USU and BYU should not have their starting QBs play while playing each other, it never goes well.
 
Looks like a dislocated ankle if it is he could be done for the season. Really looked a loot like RG3 though his was without contact it looked really close to the same.
 
Aggies taking the fight out of the impostors from Provo. Garretson and Natson, Vigil at FB look like a decent one two, three punch. All these clowns giving BYU an undefeated season looks in major jeopardy. Hesiman candidate Taysom Hill appears done. Couldn't happen to a finer bunch of overage chumps. Most despicable program in the country, imo.

If so, BYU's season is, once again, going down the drain. Probably bowl eligible, but 6-6 or 11-1, they get the same bowl regardless.

Last week they were posturing to be in the playoffs, going for another national championship, undefeated....now they want to fire all of their coaches, epic meltdown in Zion. Man I love it when BYWho gets to eat a little humble pie.

And for those of us who thought Utah State was going to have a down year, I'm not so sure about that now. Looks like Garretson is the real deal.

Garretson has a ton of experience from last year, so that wasn't really going to be a factor.

What were factors however were;
1. BYU has no pass rush. Even when blitzing on USU's o-line (which had struggled all season), they could not shed blocks at all.
2. Pass defense. Combining with the pass rush (or lack thereof), BYU's pass defense was ripped up and torn apart by a competent QB, including some huge pass plays that went for 50+ yards.
3. And of course, injuries, the most significant of which was to BYU's triple option QB, who, while a good runner (though that ended up costing him), was not a very accurate passer.
4. Last but certainly not least, turnovers. BYU threw quite a few INTs throughout the game, most of which were bad decisions.
 
I used to watch Nick Vigil in HS down here. That guy has a motor.

Anyone who has 16 tackles on defense and 16 carries and a TD as RB on offense like he did tonight? Jeez.

You don't see iron man players at the college level anymore. Impressive.
 
Pretty sad that USU had to rely on him to run the ball. But I have never seen such a thing in college. Vigil played RB in High School, but never in college. He went from O to D, to special teams and everything in between tonight. He cramped up at the end. Wonder why.
 
Utah State fan here. Thanks for the kind words, guys. Can't tell you how good it feels to get that monkey off our back.

Can't wait for conference play to start! I hope the USU - Wyoming game is for the Mountain division championship!

By the way, two weeks ago I was about 75 miles east of Casper; took a nice bull elk. Love Wyoming.

Also, their forums? wtf if CSU Forums and BYU Forums got together it might just break the internet how the fuck do people even find what is being said in that garbage lol.

Yeah, those forums suck.

And a BYU fan on the MWC board (1 at least) acknowledges it wasn't a dirty tackle, Jack Bauer.

So Colorado and Utah forums are like from 10+ years ago lol, Might need ot check out USU and see if at least one Utah school has done it right.
