what does everybody think?? Nevada is playing tougher, but I truly hope we come out and fire upon all cylinders, everyone's relatively healthy, and we cruise in this one, won't be easy as usual.

Nevada is a pretty good team I think. They had a rough go in OOC play, and are struggling in their first season in the MWC, but I think that we beat them. We HAVE to beat them tonight, and beat Fresno.
I think 66-59 is a good prediction, I will go with that as well.

Even though it is Nevada and Fresno, beating both of these teams, especially back to back should get our teams confidence up and who knows maybe they start playing like they did against SDSU, or CU.
 
Don't forget - two of the Pokes better players are out. No one really picked up for Martinez. Can anyone do it for Nance?

J-Rod, why do you and older people...when I say older, I mean older than me...why do you guys call it UNR?
Isn't it just UN? It used to be called University of Nevada @ Reno but not anymore right?

Or is it kinda like Cal/Cal-Berkley? It is the "official" state university and since then they have added more? Or?

Sometime around 2004, Nevada got all mad and shit because June Jones would refuse to call Nevada anything but "Reno"......Nevada desperately wants to be referred to as simply "Nevada", even though UNLV is just as much the "University of Nevada" as they are. I'll call them UNR, Reno....but never just Nevada. :D

Haha fair enough, I call them University of Nevada, because I don't like universities that have a city in their name like San Diego State, or Boise State or University of California at Los Angeles.

I like having teams in the MWC being associated with states, seems more legit.
I think it would suck if we were U of L or UWL
 
Anyways back to the game...I think the Pokes come out and get back to Wyo ball. We fought back hard against Boise St. we had New Mexico almost beat. These guys just need to come out and play their ball. Get a nice 5-10 point win, and get ready to bounce back and make a solid run in the second half of MWC play.
 
Josh, Derek and Wash have an awesome night, I just feel it!!! I prefer Reno to Vegas anyday of the week, I win more in Reno...lol
