After Watching this video I think Pittser starts.

Adam Pittser for sure would have been one of the highest recruited QB's in the country if he would have played in a pass oriented offense in high school. He ended up getting runner up at the elite 11 camp with the top most sought after qb's being recruited this last year. The only one to beat him out was the QB going to Florida. Christiensen and Brandon will make him even better. He barely flicks the ball out of his hand and it flies fast and hard far down field. Not sure if anyone saw this video below on ESPN Rise but guy on here says he is definitely a nfl qb. I know Smith is talented as well but Adam Pittser i think is a raw talented freak.

I think we are going to be all right this year as long as the O-line can give the QB a little more time than they have the last few years. I think we got two studs battling it out for the starting spot. Can't wait to see who really shines.

I'm excited about the kid and think he's going to end up special, but let's see how he looks when TCU's front is after him.

Regardless of who the starter is this season they're both still freshmen and there will be growing pains with either of them. But the future at quarterback and the offense certainly looks brighter than it has in years.

ACS looked pretty good in his highlight tape too.......

ACS was never runner up at elite 11 camp and no elite 11 coach ever called ACS a NFL caliber QB either. No elite 11 coach ever said ACS had the strongest arm for his age he had ever seen either. All of those things were said about Pittser. Big Difference.

Now obviously it doesn't mean anything until he actually steps on the field and performs. I would have to say in pure potential and pure upside this might be the best QB Wyoming has ever had but again none of it really matters until he performs. Smith is talented as well. You guys are right though, for all we know they could both end up being duds. From the sounds of the elite 11 coaches on that ESPN Rise video though, he should be a great QB with the right coaching and I believe Christiensen and Brandon are both great QB coaches. If our offensive line is top 3 in the MWC like Brandon seems to think it will be then we might have a decent shot this year to finish a little better than we think. Here's to hoping :thumb:

There is hope - at least I have hope that we will be much improved this year and much, much improved next year. Both Smith & Pittser will be key parts of this team for years to come. If Christensen & staff keeps strengthening and building depth on all parts of the team, by the time Smith & Pittser get to be upper classmen we should be challenging for the top.
