Temple RB Bernard Pierce plays quite a bit on Sundays. He was their team. Not excusing the loss but they were good that year.

Absolutely...after the "potential" we were all fed, if CDC doesn't make a bowl game...and win said bowl game...he's done....
 
He's done. Giving up all these points at home is infuckingexcusable. Thank goodness this game is late enough that nobody is watching. I am sick of getting embarrassed at home, and I am sick of our nation's-worst defense.
 
2 weeks, 2 WEEKS to prepare, and what happens? Literally our WORST offensive performance of the year. Defense started out strong, but got NO help from the offense.

Kaglis will probably be interim HC and OC for the final 3 games.
 
Monday morning in Tom Burman's office:

Tom - "Jesus Dave, what the fuck happened?"

DC - "I don't know Tom. It is the same gameplan I've been using for the past 5 years. I mean God Dammit, it should have worked!"

Tom - "I thought you said getting rid of Tormey would turn things around."

DC - "Shit Tom, I figure by firing him, the fans wouldn't give a shit if we got beat this weekend."

Tom - "Well what are we going to do now?"

DC - "Well, Tom, I've got a big contract that these fuckers are going to have to pay out, so I really don't give a shit what happens. You might be in trouble though, hahaha."

Tom - "What do you mean Dave? You think they might fire me?"

DC - "Well fuck yeah. You hired Shroyer and gave him the big contract extension, then you hired me and gave me a big contract extension, and we both pretty much shit in the mess kit. I'm not too worried because at least I've got the place in Arizona paid for and you know my wife still hasn't moved here yet."

Tom - "Jesus Dave, I might have to fire you and hope that is enough to keep my job."

DC - "You can't fire me Tom, I quit, just like my team, hahaha. Just make sure that final check is for the full amount. You don't want me to sue the University like Shyatt did on the way out of town."

Tom - "I can't go back to selling cars Dave, what will I do>"

DC - "Sorry Tom, not my problem. Have a nice life. I'd like to say it's been fun, but it hasn't. I gotta run Tom, the BMW is double parked and I don't want a ticket. Hey the team is going out for drinks on Thursday night this week since we have a trip to Boise on Friday. You want to come?"

It's funny (or really not) because it's true. This is pretty much how I envision Burman and Schroyer's meeting.

If this is true, I will be disappointed. Wins against Idaho, UNC, the worst Air force team in 30 years, and an awful New mexico team gets DC another year? Hawaii is winless.

I think DC has to go if we finish 1-3. I don't care if we lose all 3 by 1 point. The last 2 years have been a huge step backward. The loss to Cal poly last year and the humiliation by csewe this year should end his stay at Wyo.. In his 5 years, we don't have a single signature win against a quality team. Frankly, I don't have great hopes tonight. I'm just hoping not to freeze to death.

You continue to say how much DC sucks...yet he has taken us to 2 bowls in 4 years...and just needs to go 2-2 the rest of this season to get us to our 3rd bowl in 5 years. Just saying.

Going to a bowl doesn't mean shit. Some years there's talk of allowing schools with losing records into them.
