Afam Muojeke - NBA or not?

I figure since there isn't much going on this thread should be pretty interesting to see what people think. Hopefully it doesn't get derailed by SJSU or some other complete random shit.

I have kept up with him for quite a while and seen some of his games last year in the MNBA which he did pretty solid. I don't know the number difference between what he is putting up over there but I know a lot of players who don't make it to the NBA go this route.

MNBA Season Averages:
29.4 ppg
9.8 rpg
2.6 apg

Now my thought is he may never seen the NBA because of his age and that is probably the biggest thing holding him back. If you guys have seen his highlight video from last year what do you think? Could we see him in the NBA or you think he is where he will stay?

I choose Option C: None of the above. I don't think the NBA is in his future, but his strong performance over there should open up opportunities in higher level professional leagues abroad. There are many levels between the MNBA and the NBA and Afam should have some opportunities to move up a little bit, possibly in Europe or China, which should provide more financial opportunity.

MNBA as in Mongolian NBA? ha ha that is such a random place to play. Talk about going to the ends of the earth. I imagine a Mongolian professional league being like a half step up from high school, but who knows? Hopefully he can get a contract in China or europe and make some good $$.

I agree. I think he could have some chances to move up to a better league. One thing I've really enjoyed and respected about Afam from following him on twitter is the fact he has embraced his journey to these different places to play basketball. He has played in Brazil and Mongolia and it seems like he really embraced the culture of where he was.

I still think he has a chance to see the D League for NBA but probably not much if any above that but I still enjoy watching him play too bad his knees didn't hold out during college could have been a great ride.

Doesn't Afam have some legal issues to clear up first? I don't remember seeing any resolution on that...
