Afam done for season

Schmolt's twitter just indicated that Afam Moujeke is done for the season. Looks like his knee never healed up.

His career may be done you blow a knee and you are never the same. No matter how good the knee is again you always have that fear of blowing it out again. I hate it for Moujeke as he was a solid player before the injury but has never been the same since.
 
I don't think is a surprise for most people. That was a horrible injury and it was painfully obvious early on that he had not healed as well as hoped. I would have to agree that this is likely the end of his bball career. Just hope he can regain his health and finish school.
 
Well...I probably will piss you all off about this...but...

Good Riddance Afam. Hopefully you can actually DO your classwork and earn a degree still...

I never like to see anyone injured, let alone a UW athlete and kid, but his work ethic and desire after completing his freshman year, was non exsistant at the very best. I would have bet the house saying he would never make it back to form after his FIRST injury, because HE didn't want to work at it bad enough.
 
Your not pissing everyone one off. Ive said many times on here my feelings on the kid. BUT I do think if he had had proper coaching he would have been a great player. He may have come back to do great things regardless but we all know its Heaths fault he is hurt again. He should have never played him as soon as he did and he knew it. But the guy just wanted to make a last ditch effort to save his own ass
