AFA D-Game beats WYO A-game in Laramie

The Wyo D-line is arguably the worst D-line in the history of D1.
I miss Joe Glenn's Defense. AFA didn't even show up today and still won. Pathetic.

I don't agree at all. The only reason we were IN the game is because the d-line actually did a good job. If Oklahoma with all their depth on their defensive line can't stop Air Force, how on earth do you think ours is?

I actually think they played really well, especially Purcell.

I guess you don't get it. The dline played well against AFA D-Game.. AFA was sleepwalking, completely looking past this pathetic team and rightfully so... When it came time to shove it down UW's throat, AFA gained 5-10 yards every single carry and won the game. It was very embarrassing.. they toyed with Wyoming. AFA didnt' show up, and still won. Wyoming will be lucky to compete against Colorado St, New Mexico and UNLV. Every other game will be a loss. We will get blown out by Toledo.

I guess YOU don't get it. A team like Air Force wears defenses out, it's their game. When Air Force gained a lot of yards per carry, it was because our team was already spent. Guess you didn't watch what happened to BYU. And you most certainly didn't see Air Force run for the most yards ANY opposing team has EVER done in Norman against the #7 ranked team in the nation.
Or look at a worse team - NW State. They were in close with Air Force after the first half, and then AF scored 6 unanswered touchdowns in the second half.

A couple of sustained drives more from our offense, and we would have won.


No matter what, blaming the defense for giving up SIXTEEN points to Air Force is beyond stupid. BYU gave up 35, and Oklahoma gave up 24. Those are facts. It's points that matter, nothing else.

I thought Wyo could beat Toledo before the season, but I don't think that will happen. They are a solid team. Don't see it happening for Wyo. The schedule keeps getting worse from here until the last 1/3.

I thought AF was going to be better than what they were, or Wyoming played better than I thought they would. I thought we had the upset and that's why this loss is even more disappointing.
