It looks like we're at about 27,000 depending on the walk up. We'll see if the AFA brings more than the people that pre-purchased tickets. It doesn't look like it will sell-out, but it will be damn close.
From what I can tell, that would be the most since the Nebraska game.

And the Nebraska game had at least 5000 Cornholes in attendance.

This will be the most Wyoming fans in the War since the Virginia game, and we all know how that turned out.

Suck it Howie Long. :D

Howie Long went to Villanova, not Virginia.

Howie's son went to Virginia and got piss pounded in front of Howie(who was in attendance) and a crap load of Wyoming fans, right here in Laramie.

Oh, O.K. Never knew that happened.

Yeah, that was the one where we had something like 500 yards to their 100 yards of offense. Karsten Sween looked like a god that day. We've had sell-outs since then for Nebraska and Texas, but Virginia didn't have many fans in the building at all. Today will probably be the most Wyoming fans in the War since that day.

Hopefully soon, Craig Bohl's teams will start beating Big 5 teams as often as Joe Glenn's teams did.

With Bohl's success against Big 5 teams at NDSU, NDSU's continued success against them, and the type of program Bohl has already built in three years in Laramie, I have no reason to believe that Wyoming can't be just as successful at beating Big 5 teams as Joe Glenn's teams used to be.

Next year will be the first real opportunity with Iowa and Oregon (if the green weenies keep their side of the deal and come to the War).

The way both of those programs are trending, I wouldn't count out the Pokes in either game!
