AF TICKETS

I just got mine on the Wyo. ticket website. Twenty eight dollars plus service fees. It should be a great game. Weather channel says mid 50s and dry. No reason why we cant win down there. It's becoming more apparent each week that our QB is something special.

Not only the QB, but the rest of the team. The running backs, the receivers, the defense (maybe #2 will play a full game and not pull the Derrick Martin and play 110% all the time)....everyone is playing better.

Anyone interested in a tailgate? I think my bud is bringing up his motor home and we will set up just across from the stadium in the campground. If there are any who are interested, I can email a map and contact numbers. Should be a great day and would be good to hook up with some poke fans for this game. Email at [email protected] if interested and I will send info. GO POKES!

Afipoke, Do you know where you're going to have your RV parked? If so, we can sticky a post so everyone that's headed down knows where to find you.

I am excited as hell that UW is 4-2. I think the AFA game will be a great measuring stick for where we are as a program. Are we feasting on weaker opponents and home games? or are we capable of beating a good bowl caliber team that doesn't make mistakes on the road? or are we a little of both?

I respect coach Calhoun and the AFA program (its the only MWC school my son or daughter could consider other than WYO), but we are due to beat the Falcons. The last couple years they have benefitted from bad (Wynel at AFA '07) to questionable (Wynel vs AFA '08-intentionally tripping should have been called instead of being allowed to kick it out of his hands) fumble calls. These have been close, tense games in the past and I expect another. I just think this year, we will move the ball a little better, score more points, the RBs better hang on to the damn ball, and protect our defense a little better. Our run D vs AFA has been pretty good the last couple yrs, we seem to give up big plays late after the D has been on the field all game. I think this yr the seniors finally feel what it is like to beat AFA. GO POKES!!!!!

What section are the poke fans stuck with this year? 4 years ago, it was the west side, 2 years ago, the east side. Anyone get their tickets through the dreaded UW ticket office?
