About recruiting top athletes to Laramie vs elsewhere

You certainly can't give 100% blame on how attractive a town is to the quality of recruits the school gets. If this were the case Oklahoma would never win a game as (IMO) Norman makes Laramie look like an oasis. But OU still attracts tons of 4 and 5-star recruits...why? Because of program tradition, coaching and winning.

OU also has one other thing....hot babes everywhere! About 75% are blondes and about 1/3rd of them have boobjobs done!!!!!

Natural beauty-wise the State of Oklahoma makes Wyoming, especially the northern parts, look like Hawaii!!!!

how much different is it recruiting in pullman compared to laramie? washington state seems to do ok

our facilities are FAR superior and i would say the only thing they have that we don't is auto bcs qualification

And we can kiss ANY chances of getting BCA AQ status good-bye-bye when TCU leaves for the Big Least in a few days. Rumor is that they are joining for all sport along with Temple and UCF for football only.

Got a bad feeling the WAC and MWC will have to merge soon.

Now that makes no sense. The Big East would have 17 basketball schools and 11 football schools. If they just bumped up Villanova's football program (all other sports already in the Big East) and had UCF join in football only (all other sports in the Atlantic 10 anyways), that would actually make sense. So far, I have only heard this from the Bleacher Report, which is about as relable as "The World News" magazine was. So that gets tossed out.

Well, in hindsight, the fact that Temple is rumored to join for football only is what tips the rumor towards being ridiculous!!!! There was a reason why Big Least kicked Temple football out in the first place!

BTW, Central Florida have all their sports teams in C-USA, not Big East. Your thinking of Temple. In either case, I agree. Regardless, Big East football will be dead in a few years anyway so.....

My buddies in Hawaii are hoping TCU leaves so they can watch the MWC grovel at the WAC's feet!!!

I sid that Villanova's other sports are all in the Big East. And I have read in several places that UCF has their other sports in the A10, so a football only invite would actually make sense for them.

Huh? I know UCF's basketball teams (men and women's) are in the CUSA.

And I just checked the Atlantic-10 wikipedia page and UCF has none of their minor sports currently IN the A-10

I think you got Central Florida confused with some other school. My guess: USF except USF is already playing football in the Big East so.....

My bad on UCF. But you did misread about Vilanova though.
