I loved my years in Laramie and had a great college experience. We went to CSU a couple of times to watch a UW hockey game and to play a club lacrosse game. I have to say that CSU was even cooler than Laramie. There seemed to be chicks everywhere, wearing sport bras while jogging in herds! I think UW is a better university but just not all that great of a town. I hate cities but as a college dude it was nice to see all the ladies that are in bigger cities.

Meanwhile, freshman classes in Colorado are as high as 6 females to each male freshman.
Believe you me, when I saw that kind of stuff, Laramie was removed from consideration pronto.
Your post would make more sense if Wyoming didn't have a better football history than both of those schools. The key is winning....bottom line. When I was in school we were kicking ass in both football and basketball. The only thing that stopped this from continuing was a few bad coaching hires. If it was all about the so-called best place to live, then you'd see SDSU, etc. have more success.pokerupfront said:No offense to Laramie, but .
There is no advantage in recruiting for UW. Those who really want to be a part of the program are either legacy cases. or one of the multitude of Wyoming High School Seniors who aren't big, fast, or good enough to even be considered.
As for any out of state recruit, imagine visiting the campuses of CSU, Utah, and Wyoming in the dead of winter, and getting to choose from any of the three.
The few blue chip recruits the state does generate notice the difference as well when they visit out of state Universities.
We either need to build a dome over the entire city and campus, or simply have the most money to throw at the program to get on an even keel.

This is a retarded post (no offense MSUhunter you f##king retard). There are actually more women than men at UW I believe...or at least closer to 50 / 50. And everywhere has fatties...Colorado is no exception...in fact FAR from it.
Then again, I never had an issued bumping uglies at UW in my days...maybe ugly f##kers do though...I see your point.
