When people complain about the current state of the football program, I think back to the Koenning years and realize it is a matter of perspective. The program is in much much better shape than during that fiasco.

Interesting tid bit and quite comical. I don't blame Lee Moon for hiring VC after Dimel left, it seemed like the natural choice. I think we all can agree Keonning is an excellent DC but was in over his head as a head coach. But was also setup to fail by your own AD for stupid decisions like that. Crazy.
