I got a couple of pics of Unrein and Prosinski this weekend.. I prob would have had more, but I got a little tipsy on Jagermeister and forgot that Chris Pro was playing. Oops. :)

Chris Prosinski making sure Julius Thomas doesn't come down in bounds with this touchdown:

I didn't want to create a new thread so I'm putting this in here.

There is a chance Mike Purcell gets called up to the 53 man roster of the 49ers for a few weeks due to Glenn Dorsey injuring his hamstring this past week. Ray McDonald has a partially torn biceps tendon so the 49ers are down to three healthy defensive lineman with an injured McDonald still playing. No word yet on Dorsey's injury so we'll have to wait and see.

Well, it is a chance for Purcell to make a splash in the NFL.

As a Raider fan, it pains me Unrein is on the Broncos. I still like to see him do well, however (just not against my team). I had the same problem rooting for the Patriots even though Danny Woodhead was on the team. Him being with the Chargers doesn't make it any better, either!

I sort of root for the Packers, but for the most part, I root more for players than actual teams. Like I'll never be a Denver Donkeys fan, but I have no problem rooting for Manning and Unrein.

Yeah, I get obnoxious any time the Broncos come out in that Cowboy package (with Unrein as a fullback). Would love to see him get another TD.

It was cool that alot of people from Chris's hometown(and mine), Buffalo, WY., packed Sports Authority Field, wish I coulda made it, but I'm so happy that Chris Pro is playing well in the NFL, he's a really good, grounded kid and I'm glad to know such a good person, I used to referee his YMCA basketball games when he was a youngen....Keep up the good work Chris Pro!!!

We were on the airplane coming back to Missoula sitting next to Josh Scobee's cousin.. she told us that Chris Pro had quite a gathering of people there to root him on.

This is the latest article on Purcell's chances this week. The 49ers released Chris Harper today opening up a roster spot. I think it's a safe bet that they fill the spot with a defensive lineman and that will be either Mike Purcell or Quinton Dial.

Purcell has the size and ability to play NT or DE in the 49ers defense (said so in the article) and he's been there all season, so he may have an advantage.
