9/3 Opening game thread- NIU @ WYO

Damn! Damn! I didn't get enough beer for a long delay. But what if the game goes past midnight? Does that mean that the Mormon players (if any) just quit at 12:00 and walk of the field? Well anyway, the concession stands should really make out. Oh - can't the teams BOTH warm up in the indoor facility?
 
Looks like it should clear out by 9:00. Check the Accuweather radar map of the area:

I just checked WeatherUnderground and the radar shows most of the storm has already moved NE out of Laramie - maybe a couple of small rain cells still to come within the next 15 or 20 minutes. Most of the lightning was to the west and north.
 
They just said on the broad cast the teams will come out at 9 MT time and then each team gets 55 minutes to warm up. So game won't start until 10 MT time .

I'm all for player safety but still...this is dumb! Still remember the long weather delay against Texas State and we lost that stupid game!!!!!!!
 
Didn't the broadcaster say that if each coach decides to play then they play - no need for a full 55 min. warmup?

Not ridiculous. It has to be done.

Little girl got killed by lightning at Flaming Gorge this summer, athlete at Black Hills last year, it could happen.
