Once again, you're lying. You have no proof of Wyomings defense ever being in the top 5 for most of the season. If they were, two bad games at the end of the season wouldnt drop them all the way to 22 And the bottom line is who really cares. The defense didnt even have the chance to give up very many yards, however they gave up their fair share of points. Where did we rank with scoring D I wonder? You can't blame that all on the offense.

Actually, he's right. I remember Wyoming's defense being ranked #2 in the nation after 3 or 4 games one year, because I bragged about it to a friend of mine who is a CSU fan. He gave me a LOT of crap when things started falling apart.
I think that was the year John Flora (we had a semester-long project together) told me that the defense had basically given up because it wasn't worth risking injury when the offense didn't do anything anyways.

Indeed, and you also have to account for who you've played. That your defense looks stellar against Utah State and other teams that are struggling to do anything at all offensively really isn't a feat.

Christensen has been underwhelming so far, to say the least, but the tenure of Joe Glenn is not one that should bring fond memories to long time Wyoming fans.

Underwhelming? To say the least? Taking what was supposed to be a last place team to a 5th place finish and a possible bowl game? What does it take to not completely disappoint you people? You need a National Championship to even acknowledge something decent? Good luck with that.
