3rd and 4th Quarter Tradition

After the CSU game yesterday. Just follow what they did, the fans stayed, were hyped, and shoved our noses in our own shi$.

Time to put the women and children to bed, and go hunting for dinner. No more pansy ass, participation ribbons, and just happy to be here BS.

So it was Toby Keith?
Yeah.

Maybe 20% of the stadium sang it. I didn’t hear a single person sing cowboys from hell or fishin in the dark.

It was really bad timing. We were getting outplayed by an FCS opponent and it was just starting to rain. Most people didn’t have a clue what was going on.

It’s almost typical of the choreography of the game. For years spontaneity has been eliminated in favor of following a script.

That is why the W-Y-O cheer has basically vanished. Let’s see - it’s scheduled for the 2nd TV timeout of the 3rd quarter which just happens to be after the opponent scores for a three possession lead when the fan juice is flowing in the urinal because there’s no hurry to get back to the game.

Even the distractions during tv timeouts were poorly executed. A fight song should be played based on the flow of the game and the crowd energy.

Oh how I tried to bring the W Y O cheer back several years ago....crickets for the most part, an uninformed cheerleading group that had no idea with their placards. I even volunteered to help them or the new PA guy was only PC in speaking with him or emailing him--I can't remember.

Regardless, I guess the Ath Dept knows best, they know everything or they know best how to run a program into the dirt.
